estled in the heart of southern Burgundy’s countryside, between the Mâconnais and the Côtes Chalonnaises vineyards, our gîte Le Chant des Prés will charm you with its authenticity and surrounding nature.

It is ideally situated a few kilometers from Cluny, in the hamlet of Collonges built with golden stones, on the commune of Lournand. This cottage is perfect if you wish to discover our nearby cultural heritage such as the Cluny Abbey, the Cormatin castle, the medieval villages of Brancion and Saint-Gengoux-le-National, the city of Tournus… it is easily accessible from the A6 motorway and the TGV station.

Whether you are traveling, hiking or simply staying over for an evening, everything is at your disposal to ensure that you will enjoy a pleasant and peaceful time, to the rhythm of nature and birdsong. For pilgrim friends walking to Santiago de Compostela or Assisi, this is the perfect stop and our gate is open to you. The community of Taizé is a few minutes away by car.

T H E G Î T E

Located in a cosy barn renovated with natural and eco-conscious materials, you will find yourself in an intimate and poetic haven of peace.

The house has a large living room, a very well equipped open kitchen as well as a lounge area suitable for reading and resting. The bedroom has a 160 cm (Queen size) double bed, is entirely panneled in natural wood and has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

You will have private access to a small garden with a round table, wooden bench and a fish pond.

At Le Chant des Prés, enjoy a relaxing break from everyday life.
